  • What happens if my scheduled move with Eureka Moving is affected by inclement weather?
    We always strive to carry out scheduled moves as planned, even in inclement weather. However, challenging conditions such as heavy rain, snow, or ice can make it difficult for our crew members to travel safely, navigate the moving truck, and handle items outdoors. If the weather forecast appears questionable as your moving date approaches, we will proactively reach out to discuss a contingency plan with you. Ensuring the safety of our crew and your belongings is our top priority. We highly recommend staying flexible and giving yourself a few days of leeway with your moving schedule to accommodate potential weather-related changes, especially over the winter.
  • What Type/Size of Trucks do You Have?
    We generally operate out of 26 foot box trucks, although have other options available depending on the circumstances of each specific move.

    Eureka Moving accepts several forms of payment for your convenience- Debit Card, Credit Card, Cash, or Check.

    In most cases, we charge a 2-hour minimum, although some moves such as long distance are priced differently.
  • Does Eureka Moving provide disassembly and reassembly services for furniture during a move?
    Yes, Eureka Moving offers disassembly and reassembly services for furniture as part of our moving solutions. This ensures that your items are safely transported and set up in your new location. Additional charges may apply for disassembly and reassembly of specialty items such as workout equipment, appliances, intricate furniture pieces, and more. For specific concerns about any particular items, please consult with your moving consultant to receive tailored advice and pricing.
  • What is the best way to label my items for a move?
    Yes, we recommend labeling your items, especially boxes. Our most preferred method for labeling boxes is clearly and legibly on at least 2 sides and the top of the box. Label these areas with the room or part of the destination where you would like it to end up during the unload. This will assist us in efficiently moving everything in. For larger furniture or items, consider attaching an easily visible tag with the same detailing to ensure a smooth and organized move. Proper labeling helps our team work more efficiently and ensures your belongings arrive exactly where you want them in your new space.

    We work on Saturdays, and are closed on Sundays.
